Prof. Florin Miculescu has been Full Professor at the Materials Science and Engineering Faculty, National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest (Romania) since 2015. He leads a research group working on advanced methods for materials, biomaterials, and nanomaterials processing and characterization, and coordinates two research laboratories.

Prof. Daniel Munteanu is the Vice-Rector for Students and Liaison with the Economic and Socio-Cultural Community at Transilvania University of Brașov (UNITBV) since 2012, and Full Professor at the Materials Science Department since 2008. As Vice-Rector, he oversees the Entrepreneurial Society of Students (SAS-UNITBV), the Alumni structure, the Career Counseling and Guidance Center, and the Economic Relations Office.

Rodica Elena Ionescu

(PhD) in Biotechnological Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel
Dr. Rodica Elena Ionescu received a PhD in Biotechnological Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel (2004), and a second PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bucharest, Romania (2007). She completed three post-doctoral fellowships in France in electrochemical biosensors. In 2008, she was a researcher at the National Laboratory of Nanotechnology, Lecce (Italy), working on impedimetric cell chips.

Mohamed Belmeguenai

Prof. Mohamed Belmeguenai joined the Laboratoire des Sciences des Procédés et des Matériaux (LSPM) at Université Sorbonne Paris Nord in September 2007 as an assistant professor, after completing a PhD at Université Paris XI (Orsay) and postdoctoral work at Universität Regensburg (Germany), where he focused on high-frequency magnetization dynamics in interlayer exchange-coupled NiFe/Ru/NiFe thin films.

Leandru-Gheorghe BUJOREANU

Professor at the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering from “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Romania
Fe-Mn-Si-based shape memory alloys: an alternative to NITINOL
Professor Bujoreanu is an international expert in the field of research and development of shape memory materials, being ranked among the top 100 authors in this topic, according to Web of Science database, as a function of the number of publications (>100). He defended, at the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Romania, his PhD thesis entitled “Technology and equipment for obtaining some shape memory alloys” which was focused on Cu-based shape memory alloys.
